We can do hardware maintenance, replacements, key duplication and systems. We work with organisations' induction and compliance processes.  

Yes. Accurate Locksmiths can assess existing door hardware and identify any issues that may affect emergency egress, fire safety, or compliance with the building's compliance schedule, and can supply any relevant defect reports or requirements provided by the Independent Qualified Person.

This may include:

• Inspecting exit doors, escape routes, and fire-rated doors.
• Checking that doors can be opened from the inside without the use of a key, special knowledge, or excessive force where required.
• Verifying that panic bars, push bars, lever handles, and other exit hardware are functioning correctly.
• Ensuring locks and latches do not impede safe evacuation.
• Checking door closers, hinges, and latching mechanisms for correct operation.
• Identifying damaged, worn, or non-compliant hardware requiring repair or replacement.
• Confirming that any replacement hardware is suitable for the door's intended use and fire-rating requirements where applicable.
• Providing quotations for remedial works where defects are found.

We do not certify or issue BWOFs. We do: 

• Inspect and identify lock and door hardware issues.
• Carry out repairs or upgrades as instructed.
• Provide records of the work completed.

Final BWOF certification and sign-off must be completed by the building's appointed IQP.

4. Key Fobs or Cards (RFID Credentials):

• How they work: Similar to hotel room cards, these systems use a small fob or card that you tap or swipe to gain entry.
